Welcome to Cluj Cricket Club
In the year 2007 there was a dream of forming a cricket club in the heart of Transilvania but the idea was very fragile due to lack of players.Cricket was turned into a weekend entertainment by the few who played it on the football fields.Later in that year cricket dried up for a while as some of them left the country for good. 2008 saw some new enthusiastic young blooded students of different nationalities who also happened to be cricket lovers.Cricket then started again in Cluj on a bigger scale with a lot of spirit and discipline.These practice sessions got us interested to take cricket in Cluj to the next level and the dream of a cricket club which once was just a dream came to be a reality.The club was formed and established by the students of UMF Cluj-Napoca in 2009.
